We offer a number of scholarship opportunities to support and reward students from around the world.

2018-2019 Scholarships

Alumni Bursary

Summary

This bursary is for you if you’re a former student of the University of Leeds studying for a postgraduate qualification in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures. Courses that are run in conjunction with other universities are excluded from the Bursary.

Value – what money is on offer

The University will pay 10% of the self-funded portion of your fees for each year of the course. If no fees are paid then no bursary is awarded.

Who is eligible

This is an automatic bursary but you have to inform us and provide evidence that you’re a former student of the University of Leeds.

How to apply

If you think you’re eligible, you need to contact the relevant admissions team for the course you have applied for.

No deadline – automatic.

You must be a former University of Leeds student.

Julian Rushton Scholarship

Summary

This scholarship is available to you if you intend to start on a postgraduate masters course in the School of Music at the University of Leeds.

Value – what money is on offer

Full fee reduction for Home/EU fee or 50% of International fee, actual amount will vary according to programme

Who is eligible?

You’re eligible if you’re a UK/EU or international applicant who has successfully registered as a student on any of the postgraduate masters courses within the School of Music.

4 May 2018

Conditions

The conditions are as stipulated regarding the level of support for Home/EU and International. Regarding other conditions, scholarship applicants must have been offered a place as a full-time student on one of the taught MA or MMus programmes in the School of Music.

How are the scholarships awarded?

The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit, also taking into consideration the applicant’s relevant experience, references and supporting statement.

This scholarship is available to you if you intend to start on a postgraduate masters course in the School of Music at the University of Leeds.
